UKB 199 congressional is a Korean bbq resto. Its not really a samgyupsal but a korean barbeque. With side dish like corn, kimchi, chicken, hotdog, chorizo and etc. It depends on what price youll pay. During pandemic it is open in GCQ area. Same self service but there are plastic covers for the foods. You will fall in line and request or point what you like to get. There are lot of goers as well. Just dont forget your face mask. You can bring or buy a coke if you want. The price is just right for the food. The cooking tray is fueled by an lpg tank. There is no limit on the hour you can eat or stay unlike other samgyupsal resto. It is worth it but there is no cold water and the place is outdoor so expect no electric fan or aircon. Park at your own risk as well.
meat tastes good, kimchi is best. but other side dishes tastes bad. but for 199, this is so affordable btw it says starts at 11am but it actually opens at 12nn
Bang-for-the-buck Korean BBQ in Quezon City! They now have more branches, one in Congressional Ave. and in Fairview near S&R. Deal starts at 199 PHP where you can already enjoy the unlimited pork samgyupsal and unlimited side dishes. Staffs are accommodating too. This is a No-Sharing, No-Leftover and No-Outside Food restaurant.
The location is very accessible, nice food, crew/staff was approachable, limited parking (no parking for 4 wheels). The only thing that is not good was the cleanliness of the whole place, considered that it's a food business. But still, recommended for people looking for cheap but delicious samgyupsal.
